The only software i've seen advertised that actually just works. Configuration and setup is simple and quick, software is well polished, and contains useful features.
Arch Linux
Lightweight and flexible Linux distribution with a focus on user control. Rolling release and AUR are very nice pieces of software. Has a great wiki applicable to not just Arch Linux.
